Renowned for recognizing and capitalizing on emerging trends within the agency space, David has consistently executed digital strategies that elevate the consumer experience. Over the years David has been part of founding teams that have advanced the mar-tech landscape and revolutionized paid media targeting, paving the way for modern data personalization. Along the way, David’s solutions have earned numerous patents and garnered acclaim from industry authorities Forrester and Gartner.

In his current role as Chief Strategy & Technology Officer at Avenue Z, David leads the company’s internal corporate strategy and spearheads all technology, marketing and M&A initiatives. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, he oversees the design and development programs for a diverse portfolio of major clients.

Prior to joining Avenue Z, David held the position of Chief Digital Officer at Investis Digital (IDX), a globally renowned B2B communications firm. During his tenure, he led technology strategy and product development teams, catering to a roster of major clients including Ocado, Rolls-Royce, Sanofi, GSK, Lowes, Anglo-American, Vodafone, and Puma. Before his tenure at Investis, David held leadership roles at Hearst Magazines, iCrossing, TBWA\Chiat\Day, Agency.com, and IBM.

Jessica Schaefer advises CEOs and investors on reputation management and organic growth through strategic communications. Schaefer founded Bevel to address the gap in venture and tech communications.

Schaefer has experience leading public relations for global, financial organizations, including Point72, a family office managing the assets of Steven A. Cohen. She also managed communications for the firm’s venture capital arm, Point72 Ventures, and helped its portfolio companies, early-stage startups, with their marketing and brand development initiatives.

Prior to Point72, Schaefer worked at Moody’s Analytics, a sister company to the credit-ratings agency, which specializes in risk management. While there, she worked in various roles across marketing and sales from Head of Communications to Relationship Manager for our Global Sales team.

Schaefer started her career at a financial communications firm in 2008. Her clients included Jefferies, OppenheimerFunds, RBC, and RBS, among others.

Dr. Jonathan Snow is the COO and Founder of The Snow Agency. Jonathan has an interesting background in that it blends two entirely different skill sets: digital marketing and dentistry. Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Ramapo College of NJ and subsequently his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Rutgers University, where he finished top 5 in his class of over 100 doctors. After dental school, he served Active Duty as a General Dentist and Captain for three years in the US Air Force. Following his military service, Dr. Snow specialized in Orthodontics, where he attended a 3-year residency program at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.

During his time as a dentist and orthodontist, he initially took up digital marketing as a hobby, which subsequently turned into much more. Dr. Snow initially started as the top-earning marketer for Caffeine Digital, a multi-million dollar digital marketing company, where he formed numerous impactful relationships with influencers and celebrities and was eventually elevated to manage hundreds of marketers beneath him. Utilizing this digital marketing experience, he co-founded and launched several e-commerce stores, generating over $50M in revenue in just 3 short years, with his brother/partner Daniel Snow, eventually leading to the establishment of The Snow Agency, a full-service digital marketing agency.

She provided close to $1B in loans during her time at SVB but became known for facilitating connections between founders and investors at events.

She holds a degree in Business Administration focusing on Finance and Marketing from Loyola University Chicago, where she was also a member of the D1 women’s basketball team and a recipient of the Horizon League Honor Roll and All-Academic Team awards.

Libbie is an Associate Director at Bevel specializing in Finance and Technology. Before joining Bevel, she was a Finance and Technology Director at Hiltzik Strategies. Libbie specializes in VC, creator economy, fintech, crisis communications, and executive thought leadership.

Prior to Hiltzik, Libbie was a Congressional Communications Director and campaign operative in Washington, DC. Libbie graduated from Pomona College with a B.A. in Politics.

Lisette Ortiz is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Finance/HR Manager at Designzillas, Orlando’s Top Digital Marketing Agency. She also served as Head of Partnerships at Stamped, an e-commerce SaaS company, building up their partner program to over $1M in revenue and 800 new partnerships in just 18 months. Her success has been driven by her ability to thrive on change, a relentless work ethic and loyalty to clients.

Passionate about living a healthy and active lifestyle, she played D1 collegiate basketball at Lafayette, and professional basketball in Israel for 3 ½ years on the league’s top team, Maccabi Ashdod.

Driven by strong content that inspires, persuades and converts, Danielle leverages her 14+ years of experience in content strategy and development to lead and challenge her talented team of storytellers. Jon Kaiden is the Founder, Chairman and a Managing Partner of Baleon Capital.  Jon has more than 20 years of experience as an investor in high growth business and has a domain expertise in marketing tech and research technology.​

​Jon has been investing in marketing technology since the early 2000s and was an early investor in iCrossing (acquired by Hearst), was the first institutional investor in Lucid (acquired by Cint), and has invested in several other companies that are driving the confluence of technology, analytics and marketing/communications.  

Shane Kim is a Managing Partner of Baleon Capital. He has over 20 years of experience as a growth equity investor, board member and trusted advisor to numerous companies at the early growth stage.

Shane serves on the boards of Shadowbox, Slick, Avenue Z, and Fingercheck.  Previous board positions include Bluefin Payments, Ingo Money, Masterplan (acquired by Berkshire Partners), New Horizons (acquired), Planet Payment (NASDAQ: PLPM, Lead Independent Director; acquired by Fintrax Group), Santa Rosa Holdings, Vantage Oncology (acquired by McKesson), and Viventium Software (Acquired by LLR Partners).

Shane began his investment career at Camden Partners, a growth equity firm he joined in 1999 as an Analyst. He became a Partner and Managing Member in 2007 and during his 17-year tenure, he participated in 22 transactions, 11 of which he led or co-led.

Prior to Baleon Capital, Shane co-founded Island Peak Capital, an advisory firm focused on optimizing growth through a proven operating approach.  Shane graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. degree in Finance and Management Science and Statistics.

As a Board Member and Chair of the Finance Committee, Mike is responsible for assisting the Board of Directors in establishing financial goals and objectives, review and approval of the annual budget to present to the full board, establish and manage funding strategies and  fulfilling the Company’s oversight responsibilities with respect to monitoring and oversight of the Corporation’s financial resources including its capital management.

His career spans more than 25 years of varied experience in financial management, business leadership, mergers and acquisitions and corporate strategy. Throughout his career he has completed over 30 acquisitions and led and completed capital and debt raises of over $400M.

​Mike holds an MBA in Finance and a BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University. He is a CPA and since 1999 has served on the Board and chairs the audit and compensation committees of Manhattan Bridge Capital, a publicly traded REIT.
