What is a Z-Score and what’s mine?

Avenue Z’s proprietary Z-Score is a composite score that combines AI Visibility, AI Share of Voice (AI SOV), Sentiment, Citation Volume, and YoY change. Why does editorial media outperform our own content?

AI models are built to prioritize trust over volume – and across our AIVx reports, between 85–96% of all AI citations trace back to earned sources like press coverage, industry publications, and third-party reference sites, while owned content accounts for just 4–15%.
