Avenue Z’s 2026 AI Visibility Index (AIVx) findings cover five sectors: RegTech, InsurTech, MarTech, HealthTech, and LogisticsTech. Across them, a small group of established platforms holds much of the visibility. The reports also point to a practical opportunity for challengers: build credible, category-specific expertise in the sources AI systems use to explain and compare the market.
Five categories, five different source patterns
RegTech: established sources dominate
ComplyAdvantage, NICE Actimize, and Alloy lead the RegTech category. Competitor, vendor and platform, and institutional sources account for 75% of citations, while editorial and trade coverage remains underrepresented. That leaves room for credible news coverage, expert commentary, and industry analysis to add useful context to the sources AI systems already draw on. Read the full RegTech AIVx report.
InsurTech: challengers are gaining ground
Guidewire, Socotra, and Lemonade lead InsurTech, while mShift, Shapsheet, and Insurity are gaining momentum. Competitor, vendor and platform, and institutional sources account for most citations. Editorial, review, trade, and peer-led content can help shape how providers are evaluated, while social content appears in retrievals but contributes little to cited answers.

MarTech: useful comparison content can help challengers
Salesforce, HubSpot, and Adobe dominate AI Share of Voice in MarTech. Here, competitor citations outweigh other source types, including review platforms and brand-owned content. For challengers, clear decision-support content and editorial PR can help answer the questions buyers face when comparing complex, multi-function platforms.

HealthTech: evidence-led authority matters
Epic, Oracle Health, and athenahealth lead HealthTech. Competitor, vendor and platform, and institutional sources make up 75% of citations, creating an opening for evidence-led editorial coverage that helps establish expertise and context.

LogisticsTech: build on editorial visibility
SAP, Oracle, and Blue Yonder lead LogisticsTech, with e2open, Onfleet, and Samsara among the challengers gaining momentum. Editorial sources carry more weight here than in several other B2B tech categories. Tiered editorial coverage, social activity, and peer discussion can reinforce a brand’s authority and strengthen how it appears in AI answers.

More content is not the same as more visibility
Many B2B tech brands already invest in news, PR, and social media. Yet that activity does not always show up in the sources AI systems cite when they compare leaders and challengers. The findings point away from publishing more for its own sake and toward making sure useful expertise, product context, and third-party validation are available in credible sources.
That work has to match the category. RegTech has room for stronger editorial and trade coverage. InsurTech can benefit from review and peer perspectives as well as PR. MarTech challengers need clear, practical comparison content. HealthTech benefits from evidence-led authority, while LogisticsTech has an opportunity to build on editorial coverage with social and peer signals.
For B2B brands, AI visibility is not a separate content channel to fill. It is an outcome shaped by the information buyers and AI systems can find, assess, and trust. The AIVx reports offer a category-by-category view of where that information comes from and where brands have room to strengthen their presence.
