Agents
Muse Spark 1.1 excels at agentic tasks that work across a wide range of external apps. It gathers context, makes plans, and executes plans all faster than the first version of Muse Spark. It has a context window of 1 million tokens, so it can remember actions and easily retrieve information from earlier work.
Computer Use
This new model has also improved computer use workflows. It knows when to automate, how to adapt as requirements change, and how to navigate new interfaces with minimal human intervention.
Coding
Even though other models still outperform Muse Spark 1.1 for coding, it has greatly improved from Muse Spark. It diagnoses and fixes bugs, executes large code migrations, and implements new features. It’s able to build faster and work harder for a variety of coding tasks.
Multimodal
Muse Spark 1.1 is now better at perception, multimodal reasoning, and tool use. It’s especially strong for visual-to-code artifact generation, image and video captioning, and multimodal agentic workflow execution. Its capabilities help perception and action occur together.
Safety
Safety is a common user concern for AI, so Meta included some safety improvements for Muse Spark 1.1. The updates followed the Advanced AI Scaling Framework to prove that the AI operates within safe margins.
Meta Leans Into AI
Muse Spark might be in its early stages, but Meta has big plans for AI. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has stated that Muse Spark 1.1 will be the first Meta AI platform to include a paid tier for developers. Zuckerberg described the pricing for this tier as “very aggressive and attractive.”
Meta has already committed hundreds of billions of dollars to AI, so this technology will keep becoming a bigger part of the company. They’ve even discussed replacing 90% of the content review staff with AI, which has raised concerns for many users.
