  • The average worker is sending 30% more messages.
  • Structured workflows, like Projects and Custom GPTs, were used 19× more this year.
  • Average reasoning token consumption per organization increased about 320× over the past year.

Not only are people using AI more, but they’re frequently using it for sophisticated tasks. It’s reshaping the way people work and collaborate to help workers achieve better ways to get things done.

It’s Most Prominent in Certain Industries and Locations

75% of surveyed individuals said that AI has improved the speed and/or quality of their work. Most of them saved approximately 40 to 60 minutes a day. Heavy users even saved 10 hours per week, allowing them to use their extra time to work on other areas of projects.

This improvement is clear across multiple industries, based on the following statistics:

  • 87% of IT workers experienced faster IT issue resolution.
  • 85% of marketing employees executed campaigns faster.
  • 75% of HR professionals saw improved employee engagement.
  • 73% of engineers experienced faster code delivery.

Speed is a huge benefit for tasks because it makes life easier for the employees, allowing them to get things done more efficiently. Yet, speed isn’t the only improvement. The people surveyed also indicated that AI helped them conduct new kinds of work. 75% of workers said AI has helped them complete tasks they couldn’t do before.
