Libbie’s journey began in Washington, D.C., where she spent five years on Capitol Hill serving as Press Secretary, Digital & New Media Director, and Communications Director for senior members of Congress.
During her tenure, she managed communications through some of the nation’s most pivotal moments, including two impeachments, COVID-19 emergency response efforts, and the January 6th insurrection. She also ran high-visibility campaigns on issues like reducing maternal mortality and protecting reproductive rights, coordinating nearly 200 live interviews across CNN, MSNBC, ABC, and FOX.
In 2021, Libbie pivoted into tech and finance as a Director at Hiltzik Strategies, where she managed accounts across the creator economy, fintech, and marketing sectors. From there, she joined Bevel PR, which was later acquired by Avenue Z, solidifying her role in building the firm’s NYC presence.
